Picking Out Pattern From A Stencil

Did you ever have leftover paint on your palette and didn't want it to go to waste?
I had some odd colors left over the other day that I didn't really like together but I didn't want to walk away and have them go to waste.....then I saw two of my stencils that I designed for StencilGirl sitting on my desk.

I decided to use that paint UP!

I used Stitch a Greek Border and Stitch a Greek Medallion from StencilGirl. This might be a good time to tell you why some of my stencil designs have "stitch a" before them. NO, they are not just for stitching, but that is where my inspiration and thoughts were when I designed them.
I wanted something fun to use in my stitchery.

I don't have a tutorial for you because this was just playing.
Layering and layering different parts of the two stencils over and over.
Did I like my color palette?
No, not really, but it wasn't about that was it?
It was about FUN and of course using up that extra paint!

Thanks for visiting today.
If you happen to ever use one of my stencils I would LOVE to see what you do with it!

  2. You don't like the colors? All I see is bandana deliciousness. Winning!

    1. A little too "peachy" for me Elizabeth.... I'm more of a red girl. Thanks so much for stopping by and your comment :)
