You might have seen this project on the StencilGirl Talk blog but I thought since there is only 2 days left to get these exclusive stencils I would show you a little into my process for the page.
StencilGirl has a StencilClub every month were three exclusive stencils, not sold on the StencilGirl Products site are offered in a membership form. This month Sue Pelletier has designed one of her Loose Woman for the club. These stencil just put a smile on my face!
My background started in my journal by just putting drops of Liquitex Ink and drops of alcohol on the page. I then took a paper towel and moved in a circular motion to blend the two. EASY!
I was using a smaller journal, so when I put the stencil down it was bigger than my page. BUT--I wanted it ALL! I traced her arm up to the point I could and then...
I slid the stencil down and lined it up so I could get her hand in.
The StencilClub gives you three stencils a month so this time Sue made accessories for her! I took plain white cardstock scraps and stenciled on them. they were then cut out and put on the page with 3D foam dots.
You can see in the picture above how her skirt is raised. I also did this with her suitcase and sentiment. So extra touches with a white pen and Stickles glitter glue and she was done.
