Last week Mary Beth Shaw did a segment on Great Day St. Louis using inspiration from one of my wreaths I made for Donna Downey. I loved what she did!
MaryBeth also owns StencilGirl. She sent me a few of her stencils to play with and WOW! I love them! In fact I can't wait to get my hands on more :) So excited to be taking one of MaryBeth's classes at CREATE Chicago in the summer.
Here are the two stencils that I used:
They were both designed by Pam Carriker.
So much fine detail in these stencils.
I decided to just play in my Art Journal with them and this is what I came up with.
Here is a close-up of the "Bird in Window" stencil:
And here is a close-up of the "Window Ledger" stencil:
Great journal pages and love those stencils. Hugs
ReplyDeleteWow. Never seen stencils like this.
ReplyDeleteMaria I'm not even going to begin to pretend like I have any idea how in the world you created this thing....but it looks fantastic! I love the shades of blue in there, the bird and the trees really pop off your background!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteHello Maria! Terrific use of great stencils!!
