Asking a favor...and a giveaway

I'm so excited!
My sister has opened her very own Etsy store!
She makes beautiful handmade jewelry with only the finest materials. I'm trying to help her get the word out and I thought who better to tell than all my crafty friends here.

So my favor is...please go check out the store:

To help her get some feedback on her pieces I thought I'd have a giveaway.

This is what you have to do. Go view the Precious Goat store and come back and leave me a comment. Let me know what you like (or even don't like) about the pieces she has for sale. Which one is your favorite?

This is what I am giving away to the winner:
A Cricut Sampler Cartridge and Cuttlebug Scrollwork Embossing Folder!

I will be picking a winner from the comments with random.org. You will have until Monday, February 6th at 10:00 PM Central time to leave your comment.

Also my sister is having a special in her store until Valentine's Day you can get 15% off your purchase. The code is in the store.

Thank you everyone!
I think you will love what she has to offer!
Please let anyone you know that might be interested.

  11. Just lovely! My favorite is the Chrysolcolla necklace because of the colors. I am not familiar with the pricing of necklaces like these. My feedback is that the pricing "seems" high. I am sure she priced them right according to value, but perhaps she could also add some smaller piece necklaces (I prefer less chunky) and some with some more color. Perhaps one that has five different colorful gem stones so that it can be paired with several outfits (I know she used neutrals and they go with everything, but I prefer brights). Also, the undressed mannequin is a little distracting with the longer necklaces. On the more positive side, her store and log is very polished and professional looking. Sorry, I didn't mean to be super negative, but I would love to see a fellow crafter be as successful as she can! Hope this feedback helps.

  12. Gorgeous necklaces! I love the Garnet Nugget Gemstone Necklace - I can't pull off the chunky ones, though I know a lot of people who can - so I prefer the smaller ones like this one. Matching bracelets would be awesome also!

  13. Wow...your sister has some gorgeous stuff! I think my favorite is the un-dyed turquoise, mainly because I've never heard of it...and I grew up in the Southwest! I love the way she describes her pieces too!

  15. She has some great pieces Maria, she'll be a huge hit, I'm sure! What really caught my eye, in a good way, of course---I noticed how she has a large selection of neutral pieces---good idea, it makes her stuff more versatile, but at the same time she has colored necklaces as well--a very well rounded selection. Very, very pretty---I wish her the best of luck!!!

  16. Maria, your sister's pieces are beautiful, selecting one favorite would be a hard choice.

I do love the "Chrysocolla" gemstone necklace, but, again, all the pieces are stunning.

I'm adding a link to your sister's store on my blog site and Pinterest site.

Best of luck to her on this new adventure.

    Hugs and blessings, Lori m

  19. Not surprising that your sister is creative too! I loved so many but my fav was the Jasper terra aqua necklace. The stones are stunning. Tell your sister she does her photos very well. I liked being able to see it in a box so I would know exactly what I would see when it arrived. Her clasps are stunning and she has great photos of them too! It is clear she put a lot of thought into the design of th enecklaces and her store.

  20. Pretty necklaces
    I would prefer clothed models
but see that the white shows off the jewelry.

I like the close ups of the stones and clasps.

Thanks for sharing your sister's talent.

  21. The necklaces are very pretty. The rutilated quartz gemstone is my fav but i think she needs to dress the maniquins. Or even use real women to model. thanks for the chance to win
