**REVIEW** My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking Software and **GIVEAWAY**

Giveaway now **CLOSED**

Look for a FANTASTIC giveaway at the end of the review!!!

I was contacted by My Memories Suite to review their Digital Scrapbooking Software. Now let me start by saying I am not a digital scrapbooker. I love to touch, feel, smell the paper and embellishments. BUT...what most people don't know is I am a HUGE digital scrapbook paper buyer which I then print out and use in my projects. There are a few reasons I have never been interested in digital scrapbooking besides the above....1) There are never programs for Mac's.....that I can understand 2) I am technically challenged 3) I HATE directions 4) Did I say I HATE directions??!! But I decided to try it out because I do like to make digital memory books of special events for gifts and it worked on a Mac!!
Who knows what could happen :)
BTW--it also works on a PC for all you "other" users, LOL!

Every single part of the actual downloading of the program was so easy even I could do it. I was up and running in NO time flat. After it was downloaded I was getting a little nervous because I thought I would have to read directions--NOT my strong suit. But NO worries, they have TONS of tutorials HERE. They are videos--which are right up my alley! I watched a few but decided I thought I could just play around.

I opened the program with NO idea of what I was going to make and just started. It was extremely easy. First I made a scrapbook page. I chose a photo template (just the places for photos--no papers or backgrounds) and went from there. I added paper, embellishments text, mats and within 10 minutes I was happy with this:

Not too bad for my first try :) One thing I really loved was you could just drag your photos in. Another favorite was I could use the arrows on my keyboard to move things in different directions the smallest bit. There are tons of options. I resized the photo boxes, tilted them, etc.

I was so happy with this that I decided to do another project. When I was with my best friend, Patty, the other day she pulled a note out of her purse. She said "remember this?" It was written on note paper that I had given her years ago with her photo on....idea!!! So I made this:

Now I can print out my own note paper. Heck, I can even type the note on it before I print it!
Yes, I was having fun. Two projects in a half hour!
I think this might be a new creative outlet.
