Bitten By The Bug 2....Sunny Days

This week for our Bitten By the Bug 2 challenge my friend and fellow Design Team member Susan picked the Sunny Days cut on the Cricut Lite Celebrate with Flourish cartridge. I think this is a PERFECT pick for this time of year :) Thanks Susan! I really love this cartridge. I am actually writing this in advance and made the project a week early because in all actuality as you are reading this I returned last night from a cruise. I'm sure I will have the perfect picture to place on the layout :)
Make sure you visit Bitten By The Bug 2 and see what all the other Design Team members did with this cut--you are sure to get some summer inspiration!!!!

I have been wanting to use the circle cut from Elegant edges since I got the cartridge and figured it would make a good "cloud" like background for my layout.
To make my title for the layout, I welded the sunny days cut and a cruise ship cut together using the shadow feature of each cut.
Just a make the waves at the bottom of the cartridge I used the Fit to Length feature and cut them 4 times.

Cricut Cartridges Used
Celebrate With Flourish = Sunny Days @ 2.88"
Elegant Edges = Circle Background @ Fit to Page
Give A Hoot = Waves at Fit to Length 11.72"
Pack Your Bags = Ship @ 4.29"
