Getting Ready For St. Patrick's Day......

Busy shopping for my yearly St. Patrick's Day Meal.....but I thought I'd share this little card I made. I have been getting the Stamps of Life Monthly Stamp Set ever since it first came out. Sometimes when I am in a creative rut I pull out a set and make something...anything!
I did this last week and here is the result....
One of the reasons I really love these stamp sets is because they have multiple options to stamp the images. For the shamrocks I did some 3-step stamping. Now remember be gentle with me--I am NOT a stamper, but would LOVE to be one, LOL! Each shamrock is actually 3 different stamps. The main image, the outline and then the dots. I made my own background paper for both the background and the sentiment. I colored the sentiment in with Copic G94.
There are some really fun stamp sets in this line. I have been following Stephanie's work for years and have even taken a few classes from her which I will NEVER forget. Just ask my friends, LOL! I enjoy getting a new one automatically each month to play with! You can check them out HERE.

  1. Love this creation, the Shamrocks are fabulous you did a awesome job with the stamping and you have inspired me :)

  2. This is so festive and super cute. I love it! Hugs- Glora

  3. Great card, love how you used the stamps to make your own patterned paper!!

  4. Well, I think you stamped it so well, that I didn't even realize it was stamped until I read your comments. I thought you choose some great paper and made a simple, but really great card! Shows what I know, you worked really hard, but that would have been obvious if I saw the card in person. Thanks for sharing.

  5. When I saw this I was wondering where you got the pretty patterned paper. Great job with the 3 step stamping (looks like your a stamper to me). Very Cute card!

  6. I'd say you're quite the stamper by the looks of this card - it looks amazing!

  7. OOOh cool, Maria! 3 steps! That's two too many for my stamping skills but yours turned out beautifully! xxD

  8. This is such a fun card!! I love it! And the stamped shamrocks turned out so pretty! Great job!
