Bitten By The Bug 2--Butterfly

New Monday, new Bitten By the Bug 2! This week it was Lori's choice and her pick was the butterfly from Once Upon a Princess on page 59. This was one of those cards that I just looked at the image and immediately knew what I wanted to do. Thanks Lori for picking it! I've never cut it before and LOVE it! Please go over to BBTB2 and check out all the other great projects with this Butterfly!
I cut the exact same butterfly out four times and made two layers of each part except the base. I only glued the butterfly in the middle so that the wings could "fly".
The card base is Kraft cardstock at 6 x 6 inches. The dark brown squares are trimmer cut at 2.5 x 2.5 inches each popped up and embossed with the Kassie's Brocade Cuttlebug folder.
Butterfly: Once Upon a Princess @ 2 inches
Circle for Sentiments: George at 1.75 & 1.5 inches
Sentiment Stamp: My Pink Stamper Buggy Punnies
Cuttlebug Folder: Kassie Brocade
Patterned Paper Line: Pink Paislee Queen Bee
