Mourning My Mac.....

Sad, my MacBook Pro's Logic Board died....crossing my fingers they retrieve my life which is on that computer while they are fixing it.....for now my iPad will have to do. Since all my projects and pictures are on my computer I thought I'd share something I received from Brave Girls Club yesterday. It really hit home with me. If it does with you too, you can find out more about Brave Girls Club by going there from the link over there in the right. No matter what--I will find a way to be back Monday with my Bitten By The Bug 2 project......

Brave Girls Inspiation for you....

Dear Sweet Girl,

It's tempting to go to the ends of the earth to figure out WHY something is happening in our life that we do not understand. Before we know it, this question haunts our thoughts, day and night, stealing all of our joy and distracting us from the gifts that are waiting there for us, distracting us from moving forward, paralyzing us.

Sometimes it is years before we fully understand why things happened the way that they did. Sometimes the understanding just never comes, because we simply can not see all of the pieces of the puzzle of life. It is ok.

With this fact in mind, it is so important, in order to have a joyful and meaningful life that we don't spend much time at all asking WHY when life hands us a set of circumstances that we were not expecting. Instead ask ourselves "how will I make the most of this?"

And you will see, dear friend, that the most WILL be made of it. Before you know it, the question WHY will not even enter your mind because you will be so busy enjoying and working through the now. Trust it. Give it a chance to work itself out.

You are so loved.
xoxo

  1. So sorry about your Mac Book. Just so happens the exact same thing happened to my fiance's as well. We were out to sea (Navy) at the time it happened so he just bought a new one for the rest of deployment, but when we got home I was able to save his hard drive. They are usually eSata, and if you can get just your hard drive back, you can purchase either a Black Widow or an external enclosure (both can be found at Best Buy, sometimes Walmart:these are very easy to set up)and use it just like an external hard drive to access your data on any other mac computer.

Good luck, I hope you get all your information back, I know just how important it is! I'm a huge computer geek lol!
