This week on Bitten By The Bug 2 our cut was chosen by Julie. She asked us to use the gingerbread man cut on Just Because Cards under the charm/tag feature. I seriously thought I would not be participating this week due to a crazy list of things to finish for Christmas--but the guilt kicked in and I got my act together in time. As a matter of fact, I made two projects with this little guy. I'll post the other one tomorrow. Julie said if we didn't have the gingerbread man on Just Because Cards (which of course I do because I have an addiction to get every cartridge there is) that we could use any gingerbread man. Let me tell you, this was a little tempting because I have wanted to try out the new seasonal cartridge...but I just couldn't do it. I like to pick the actual cut that was asked for because I like the challenge....Here is what I came up with--please go on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and see all the other wonderful creations my Design Team sisters have come up with.
I welded a cut from Just Because Cards to make the base of my card.
I then used a Gelly Roll pen in white to make the dots on the card and to make the "frosting" for the gingerbread man. All I could think of when I was making this card was frosting for some reason, LOL! I also used one of the companion Cuttlebug folders from Heritage to emboss the white area behind the gingerbread man. I thought it looked like frosting!
The inside of the card is just a simple circle.
Have a Sweet Day is from the Birthday Cakes Cricut cartridge.
Have a "Sweet" Day everyone!!
