A Donna Downey Project...

Thought I'd share this one that has been sitting on my desk for awhile...I am honored to be able to do some design work for the GREAT Donna Downey from time to time. This is a layout with some of her new stamps from Unity.
This wood mounted kind on very thin wood is meant to go in a stamping block that Unity has but I just used it as is and love it! I have to say it probably stamped better than any stamp I have ever used. I used clear embossing ink with silver platinum embossing powder on black cardstock and just randomly stamped the image.
The finished project. Instant "custom" cardstock.
For the mat in the back of the photo I used some scraps that were headed to the garbage can. I cut a TON of circles for a project I was working on and had about 10 pieces like this, Thought I'd put one to good use. The green is also some scraps.
Okay...so even when it is not a Cricut project, sometimes it just sneaks in.....I used my Gypsy to weld together the title. The Trust Stamp is also one of Donna's. If you will notice over on the right of my Blog there is a Fun with Fabric Donna Downey class that I am doing. Well not exactly "doing"--they are in Week 5 and I haven't even done Week 1 yet!! I better go start!!! Shhhh....don't tell Donna!

  1. Love it. This is exactly the kind of layout I would do (if I could). Clean and contemporary but quite detailed as well. -Never knew you could do "edgy".
